0Tower Type
Choose the configuration that matches your structure.
1Wind Load & Overturning Moment
Compute lateral wind force per zone and total overturning moment about the base.
2Guy Level Horizontal Reactions
Mo is distributed to each guy level proportional to its height: FHi = Mo·yi / Σyi²
LL = horizontal distance from tower base to the anchor block for that guy level (m).
3Cable Geometry, Plan Distribution & Tension
At each level the resultant FHi is shared by n symmetric cables in plan, then converted to true cable tension via the elevation angle.
4Cable Sizing
Select the nearest commercial cable diameter equal to or above the calculated diameter.
5Anchorage Block / Foundation Reaction
Assumes all guy levels along one direction converge near the same anchor block.
6Tower Displacement (Guy Elastic Deflection)
Leave Ac used = 0 to auto-use the required area from Step 4.
7Lattice Frame Base Column Design
Axial load distribution to base columns and required column area.
Acs is the minimum required cross-section area based on axial load only. Buckling must be checked separately per the applicable steel code.
